ABOUT ME
Chelsea Cara is a 22-year-old pop singer-songwriter based in Singapore. Chelsea's music knows no bounds as she blends various genres, drawing inspiration from a wide range of influences. Through her songs, which are deeply rooted in personal experiences, Chelsea aims to strike a chord with young listeners, offering them a musical sanctuary.
Collaborating with Singapore's electronic sensation Foxela, Chelsea released "Vybe," featuring Hong Kong rapper Kalou, earning placements on 9 New Music Friday playlists across Asia. In 2021, she explored themes of love during the pandemic with a mellow pop track co-written with Singaporean producer-songwriter KODELLE.
Continuing her musical journey, Chelsea delved into darker pop realms in 2021 with "Never Done This Before," a collaboration with Jovan Lee and vocalist Malcolm Lim. In 2022, she ventured into dance-pop territory with "Endless High," alongside producer Wrong Denzel. Demonstrating her versatility, Chelsea then crafted "Walls," a synthwave-inspired piece fully produced, written, and performed by herself, drawing inspiration from The Weeknd.
In 2023, Chelsea expanded her repertoire into progressive house with "You Are My World," a collaboration with local EDM producer Losca.
